  1. The original post mentions 10 years in the future? Any word on that?
  2. Apologies! It's correctly labeled as existing retail.
  3. The photos are actually confusing. In the renderings you can see retail on both sides of Dallas street (looks to be on the ground level while keeping the parking garage?) but in the legend map it doesn't label that side as retail, just parking.
  4. Is that hotel next to the 2.1 billion dollar Chinese development ?
  5. I'm confused as to where these shops and box retailers will go. Will they replace the empty lots? Highly unlikely right? Here is a pic of Dallas street from main to DG, help me understand folks...
  6. Sorry here's he picture, and the link http://www.justice.gov/dea/divisions/hou/hou.shtml
  7. I would like to see what you can do with this picture . Please!
  8. I would love to live in the Rice Lofts! I was just looking up the rent online, and unfortunately I'm poor haha I really want that chevron tower to be built if not only because it would actually alter the "face" of our skyline.
  9. I wonder how much this beauty will be scaled down at the end of the day? That tower would look great downtown. Not trying to be negative.. just don't wanna get my hopes up
  10. Nice update! I see all this construction everyday. I was wondering what was replacing Princeton club apartments. Any idea what these will look like? There are some older apartments next to the church (Nottingham Apts.?) that I'm guessing won't be there for long. Kinda blows but they are about to price me out of that area! The Domain West parking garage looks like it's gonna be bigger than the actual complex. The group of apartments behind Stratford High might be next as well.....
  11. Would be nice to see this again! I was wondering what's up with this as well...
  12. I wanna say toward the end, last quarter of the movie?
  13. You're actually underselling this scene, it's AMAZING!! People in the theater actually started clapping and cheering lol. It was probably the best shot of Houston in a movie IMO
  14. Makes sense, but I think that location is prime for something that creates street activity. I would take a watering hole
  15. I wouldn't be upset if (38) the parking garage across the street from MMP ended up getting canceled. Why put this directly next to the stadium???
  16. Wow I never knew about these. I just looked at the video and those things are pretty cool, it's a shame they are gone, you would think they could find a way to secure them to make sure they wouldn't detach
  17. I'm not sure how everything works or the politics/business when it comes to turning a parking lot into a development, but ... Who owns the two lots in front of the Toyota Center? What are the odds those are developed in the near future? What type of developments do you think would be/work best there? With the several (ok, couple) of apartment buildings planned/U.C in that area, i could see that part of downtown turning into a residential heavy area
  18. Hmmmm... Is it possible to label them? I pretty much know most of them but there are maybe 2 im not sure of. Great work BTW! I love stuff like this
  19. I didn't want to make a separate thread for this, but i heard from a "source", that the older apartment complexes at 800 Post Oak between Uptown Park and Camden Post Oak condos are set for demolition in the near future. Has anyone heard mentions of this as well?
