    About time something happens to those empty lots. They bother me more than any other empty lot downtown.

    She's not impressed with the dumbed-down crown.

    I think the issue with the crown was the angle they've always shown has made it look grander than it really is. Although disappointing, this is still a great looking building, and it goes on one of my most hated parking lots downtown. So yeah, I'm happy.

    For me it's the tan bricks that don't work. I'm kind of on the fence about the giant lettering, half of me thinks it'll end up cool, the other half thinks it'll be god-awful. The rest of the building is quite nice though, and as others have pointed out, great to have a school downtown.

    Kind of disappointed by the lack of height and street level retail, although I do like the modern aesthetic and we all know that area needs development.

    I'm just being impatient. The development list has it starting back in January.

    Shame this one isnt moving forward at full speed a head, I thought this was one of downtowns better infill projects.

    I'd prefer them on the other side of that park, but whatever! Downtown residential is always a good thing!

    Going mixed-use would be ideal IMO. adding a hotel or residential component would bring some life into the square, as Naviguessor mentioned.

    That might kind of cool, actually. I remember in some other thread somebody raised the idea of a sunken plaza, that might be cool here.
