Those are "Greenway Corridors". And Cherry Blossoms. Daises.

Hey Cloud,
Where did the pencil sketch come from?
Has there been an announcement of some kind?

The apartments at Levy Park and moving at a similar pace. Meanwhile the Levy Park Office building will be topping out soon.

Will be nice to see some cranes above the Med Center skyline again with this project along with Texas Children's.
...and Memorial Hermann.

Tim (or Ric?),
Lots of developable land in the areal photo.
1.First of all, is the KBR Site. The area in the right half of the photo, the north of the Bayou between the two bridges. All owned by Cathexis and mostly cleared. No one has shared what the plans are...but the area is huge.
2. Just north of that, but south of I-10, Frank Liu is planning a community of 500+ residences in a Master Planned Community. Construction to start soon, to take advantage of some Ike Relief Money.
3. The entire area in the far east of the photo, is part of the 2nd Ward/5th Ward Livability study, which Askura Robinson is studying (Very cool stuff being discussed).
4. The big industrial area to the north of the Bayou here (far right, With the creek in it) Is Proler Metals. Supposedly, soon planning to move their operation closer to the Port. Lots of other industrial tracks which are abandoned or underused.

Sounding better and better, to me, all the time. If this goes through, I will miss watching the reconstruction from the Y.
Prediction: GFR in Skyhouse...will be Bail Bond Company. Unfortunately, a lot of store fronts will be. Maybe it's not such a great idea.

It could also could provide a short route extension for the LR to connect to the possible HSR Station at the Post Office Site.

I think the idea has dome merit. Having this baby filled up would be good for the overall picture. No idea about its suitability. But I do known this...th Patrolium Club space would make a hell of a commissary.

Great tip on the Whoola Movie app. Works great. And the selection in many was is better than Netflix.

Bet you can't wait, slick. I don't know how. But I think I can almost hear you smile as you type those words.
Your tone, or lack there of, is just down right tacky.

Finally. This structure has such a large footprint, I bet that there maybe up to three cranes. At least I hope so.

Very Exciting stuff. We have years of improvements (like this) to look forward too. Memorial Park is so huge. But, it seems like all most people know if it is The Loop and maybe the Arboretum.

There's got to be a third crane. For the podium. Base has been there for a while.
