HEB on Washington Ave, Whole Foods on Elgin, Compact urban HEB's off Shepherd and Bellaire... Def possible
Yes I know HEB and Whole Foods build urban designed stores, that's why I mentioned them on the previous page. I was not aware of Kroger building any urban designed stores. I now see thanks to cluthcity94 that they have an urban designed store planned in Dallas. So it is a possibility that Kroger could build an urban designed store in place of the current store on Montrose.

And? They've done it in other cities. "Fantasy" seems absurdly pessimistic when it's the direction the market (yes, even in Houston) is going.
Kroger is doing this in other cities?

How is that a fantasy when we already have that being built in this city?
Kroger is not doing that. HEB sure, Whole Foods Sure, Kroger no.

Forget relocating, build up and put them as GFR.
That's a great fantasy.

I don't see Kroger leaving that area and I cant think of anywhere in that area for them to relocate.

The fact that Post HTX included the word "mall' in their post tells you how behind this developer is. No one wants to hear the word mall in 2020.

Negative. Plans to expand the McNair Campus has been a long term plan before TMC3
I wonder why they decided to pull out.

Is this why they pulled out of TMC3?

I'm sure A&M wants that land for their expansion.

I think this is a part of this development. Like the next phase or something.

Seems like this flew under the radar.
Pretty impressive how The Woodlands continues to expand its luxury retail options.

Uptown is becoming more and more of a urban environment. Density is part of a urban environment. If your looking for views uptown is not the area for you.

The design reminds me of The Allen Thompson Hotel/condo project on Allen Parkway.
