    Lol, the county is asking for a half cent tax increase to save the Dome. This was a setup all along. First of all the popular choice which was the park was basically shoved aside for the in house bid. Now by asking for a tax increase which they know will infuriate houstonians they have the excuse to tear it down and make into a parking lot which is what they wanted all along.

    They're making good progress on the downtown portion. This would probably be the toughest part of any of the lines just due to the small space and constant traffic. But it'll be done soon!

    Me too. I took one last week up to Vancouver. Coming down though I took an ancient Airbus, was a huge difference.

    AirTran elites are pretty mad that southwest has no first class. What's interesting is that you have to have assigned seating for international flights and that's not southwest's policy.

    Yea it's pretty smooth there's a noticeable difference also the lighting is nice and bigger overhead space

    Screw united they added revenue requirements to get to elite status AND increased award travel fees for non-elites within a week.

    Food trucks would be a good idea downtown. Sometimes golden grill and ladybird come by houston pavilions but city council needs to stop looking at pocketbooks and do the right thing

    There are a lot of people that commute into Galveston, mostly to UTMB. I went to a flight museum also. Are airplanes archaic? There are billions around the globe that take trains daily, it's not extinxt.

    I went to the railroad museum today, they said they're hoping to do this 3-4 times a year and hopefully start a Galveston-houston train at some point with the museum location being the depot
