  1. This property sold for $80 sq ft? I thought land went for around $50 sq ft in The Heights?

  12. I don't think the brewery is quite finished yet. I think they are hoping to move in sometime this fall.
  13. Yes, I saw that on the Chase website about their hours. But, I was hoping someone would reply, "Just walk on in and go to the 60th floor, and you can walk right in....."

  15. This building is the old Federal Reserve building that will be renovated for use by the Diocese. From what I understand, the basement (maybe it's the ground floor, but I was told basement) where the money used to be housed, will be for the Diocesan archives.
  16. I second Chilosos - very good breakfast tacos. Also, you could try the places a little South of the Heights. El Rey on Washington and Shepherd has a good breakfast menu and some of the best coffee in the city, in my opinion. Also, I've never been, but my friends like the breakfast at Cyclone Anaya's on Shepherd. They tell me that the omlettes are big enough to share.
  17. Tak, I was there during that time, as well. I remember that incident now that I read your post. I attended 7th and 8th Vanguard from Fall 82-Spring 84. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy my time there. Not one of the popular kids. Long bus ride from the Heights. Glad those days are behind me.
