Would guess this is part of the larger update rollout they started before the pandemic hit. If you haven't seen it already, the new format is a bit more like a department store.

Nature will always find a way to survive. Perfect use for this temporary parking lot until something else comes along. A great location for a farmers/vendor market.

I like these townhomes, apartments are coming along.

Two of the other sites adjacent to the two apartment buildings now have small "fences" around them. They've also dredged along the sidewalks. Looks like they're doing prelim work on the sites for construction.

The other surface lot is being torn up! Working on the complete site is great news. Also noticed the permit posted.

The lot has been elevated, packed and rolled. It only covers 2/3's of the empty space. I guess the remains portion is for the future office build.

I talked with the Cherry foreman about where this was going to be transported to. He said they had decided on one place but that has since changed and he wasn't sure where the new location was going to be. It will be moved in the coming week though.

They are doing a patch work job on the street north of this project, I predict this road will be torn up mud hole again in a few months.

I had a pic ready to post the same moment Culturemap posted a story yesterday. After halting work on this for most of the pandemic, major plumbing and groundwork started in late December. It looks as if additional square footage will be going up on the west side of the lot, perpendicular to Washington. The property will include: cocktail bar wine and beer bar in separate building with 100 taps patrons will be able to view staff use bandsaws to cut crystal clear ice cubes for use in cocktails at all of the company’s bars massive, fully landscaped patio facilities for ice cutting, baking, and butchery serving all the group's establishments Emma Jane Bakery will occupy a white house that will be constructed on the property. It will provide baked goods for the Kirby Group's other establishments and wholesale clients (It will also serve coffee) View of the rear at Rose and Barnes St.:
