  3. I can see why they asked to have it removed. there was one picture of a woman in a bathrobe, and a man in a dress shirt. the second to last episode of game of thrones was on the TV. Obviously, they wanted to be considerate to anyone that hadn't already seen that episode.

  9. The hotel tower crane came down this weekend. This gives a good view on the height difference of the two buildings.

  10. After further conversation with Lovett Commercial and working together with Swamplot, we have removed the renderings but have allowed the posts to remain public here and the article will remain on Swamplot as well.

  11. Is this painted plywood going to stay? It looks cheap. Not sure why I can't post pics anymore? It's kind of frustrating trying to deal with this problem.

  13. This project along with the KBR site, the redevelopment of Caninos famers market, and Hardy Yards is going to really push Houston as a destination city. It's amazing just how neglected Houston was for so long.

  18. This photo and it's angle are gorgeous and show just how BIG Houston really is and this is only the West Loop and Galleria area (partial). Not very flat looking from the air BTW. It also dwarfs all other "large" Texas cities by a long way. Wish the national reputation and news media understood this, but maybe someday. We Houstonians never were very good at promoting ourselves and this awesome city. Also, would like to compliment the website for not showing so much of the "visit dallas" advertising as before where it was showing up at the very top banner for a long time. Although, we are supposed to be nice to everyone and I get that, and yes, it does take money to run the site. But.... this is the "HOUSTON" architecture forum after all. Just sayin.

  19. Thank you, I love doing it. It gives a purpose to my bicycle rides while I'm getting some much needed exercise. I was actually taking a lot of pics before I discovered this web site since I'm in the business as a crane operator and my main hobby is bicycle riding.
