IntheKnowHouston
1806 Richmond Ave is located on the hard corner of Richmond Ave and Woodhead St. The Montrose area property sits on approximately 0.13 acres. A 2,500-square-foot building is situated on the property. County records indicate the building was constructed in 1940. King Cole (or King Cole Liquor) currently occupies the property. The liquor store's listed address is 1802 Richmond Ave. Next to the property is Big Tex Storage at 1810 Richmond Ave. Edited December 29, 2023 by IntheKnowHouston

Someone posted on NextDoor that the landlord has sold the property and is not renewing the liquor store's lease and they will be closing Dec 31. https://nextdoor.com/p/jmWNkbnKsbt5?utm_source=share&extras=NzI1MTQwOTA%3D

It's appreciated. I wonder if the landowner is also planning to sell the (or sold) the 4212 Woodhead St parcel? At the moment, neither properties show a change in ownership within the county clerk's database.

004n063
Interesting. I wonder if there's any chance this coordinates with the vacant lot across the street. Also wonder where the taco truck will move to. I think the big Fairmont Museum III is the main source of their business, but they have excellent gorditas.

IntheKnowHouston
I noticed a few weeks ago, King Cole Liquor is open again. Does anyone know if this strip center has a name?
