IntheKnowHouston
Permit filings indicate the house on the 1309 Enid St parcel is being converted into a commercial space. According to permits, there are plans for a restaurant. The proprietors of former Bocados and Red Ox restaurants own the property. I don't know if their new project will be similar to their previous concepts.

IntheKnowHouston
A Craigslist listing was created for 1309 Enid St last month. TXK
Really convenient that they can share the parking with D&T. Love that they can turn this house into a neighborhood restaurant, especially since it's right down the street from the new apartment complex too and with the modal filter to help people walking across Cavalcade.
j_cuevas713
Great news for the neighborhood. I lived 2 or 3 blocks from here for about 2 years. I'm hoping for many more positive changes in the neighborhood. I think the biggest sign will be when those apartments and that ugly shopping center change hands and get redeveloped. That section of the Northside bounded by 610, W Cavalcade, and Airline is a strange mess but it's coming together.

TXK
Cielito is open now, tried their breakfast last week and liked what we had. It's been very busy on the weekends so far based on how full the parking lot has looked. Great little addition to the neighborhood next to D&T.
