Ashikaga Posted July 13, 2005 Share Posted July 13, 2005 Crown Theatre was opened on October 3, 1914 with “The Weight of a Crown”. It was listed as (Closed) in the 1933 edition of Film Daily Yearbook. Around 1939 it had reopened as the Joy Theatre. By 1950 it had been renamed Joy-Tex Theatre. By 1955 it had been renamed Tex Theatre and in 1956 back to Joy Theatre. It had closed by 1957. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
