Are you suggesting that a transit stop can spur development?!

just 3 going up projects in one shot.

but yeah, there is the light rail station challenging anyone who denies that permanent fixed guideway (whether light rail, or BRT) spurs dense development.

you can also see some of the southern portions of the properties that will be developed into the 'concept neighborhood' near 201 Roberts street in the top left of the photo.

A photo of construction progress of 3509 Harrisburg Blvd. The photo was posted in BuiltNearby's Instagram story yesterday (photo isn't the best quality).

3509 Harrisburg Boulevard is a three-story retail/office mixed-use development in the Second Ward. It's on the corner of Harrisburg Blvd and Hutcheson St. The development is from Platform Group / The Platform Investment Group.

Site plan and floor plans for3509 Harrisburg Blvd. The plans are from leasing flyers.

Neither of the plans are new, but they weren't posted in this topic.

Angler Construction posted an update about 3905 Harrisburg Blvd to its social media yesterday. Included in the post is a drone video of the site. The video isn't recent, however.

Below are screenshots from the video.

Talked with the construction supervisor who said the owner owns everything on the block except the northwest corner building including the two apartments including the one just demolished. Didn't know what was planned for the two apartments. He didn't know who the tenants will be for the new building.

In case anyone is wondering, the northwest corner referenced is 407 York St (it's next to 402 Hutcheson St; not acquired by Platform Group).

Also, the two apartment buildings owned by Platform Group are:

  • 402 Hutcheson St (topic here)
