marketingwiz
Hi everyone! My husband and I drove by the Alamo Plaza Motor Hotel around 9 p.m. Saturday night (Aug. 23) and even though it was fairly dark, it looks like that 'developer' sign regarding a future multi-family residential project was gone and in its place was a sign with weekly rates posted for 'efficiency apartments.' It was too dark for me to read the rates. We drove through the circular drive and it hit me then that the big developer sign is gone. Thought you might want to know. Anyone got any details on what's happened?
yuan1274
FYI, its not going anywhere. It'll be serving a niche market in its existing form. Sorry, folks, but I can't reveal my source. Here's the Alamo Plaza in Beaumont on College Street. It's been many years since I've been down there, so I don't know for certain if it still exists or not

sevfiv
That's too bad - it'll have a farewell (of sorts), though.. Thanks for posting the picture of it. I took a quick phone photo back in April of the OST Alamo Plaza...nothing much to report except that someone was on site working on one of the buildings..
