IronTiger
At Bellaire and 1st Street, there's some odd unused traffic signals that I've never seen used before, almost as if (and this ties in with another unused signal system near the crosswalk) they built the stoplight to be compatible with a light rail train. If not that, then what? What is the "black box" used for? cspwal
Maybe a "No Left Turn" sign?
sevfiv
I could see that being a no left turn if there's a lot of traffic coming out of that building's driveway during peak times.
IronTiger
Yeah, but the signage is on both sides (non-Bellaire) and there's an odd light rail-esque signal on the Bellaire signs (facing traffic), which I have yet to figure out the purpose for.
