houstontexasjack
Call it "Little Woodrow's Lamar". Both for the location and for the make-up of its potential clientele. That is a little ways a way from the major throughfares of West Alabama and Richmond, and doesn't seem to fit Little Woodrow's M.O. for their newer locations near major streets. Are they going for something more akin to the Rice Village location here I wonder?
nativehoustonion
There use to be a Little Woodrows off West Alabama next to Mission Burrito. They lost there lease and they are building Gables Upper Kirby. I live on the other side of West Alabama and they parked on all the surrounding streets. Made noise after the bars closed. Illegally parked got their cars towed. Went to the bathrooms in our yards. We were so happy they closed. Now they want build one next to million dollars homes on the other side of Upper Kirby District! What a mess, they will fight tooth and nail. asubrt
I went yesterday... there were lots of people around 6 PM but it's a big space so it wasn't too packed. Apparently on Friday night they were so crowded it was one in one out. It's got a very long indoor bar area with TVs, then a smaller bar area at the back and a giant outside area where most people were because it was so nice outside. Should be a good addition to the area.
Highrise Tower
Do they have a tap menu online? Wonder if they have barrel aged imperial stouts and hazy IPAs? Any rotating sours?
