Which Streets Will Have the Most Construction

The construction along Capitol is going to be absolutely mad:  Capitol Tower, 609 Main, Texaco rehab, HSPVA, this project, Hampton Inn, the Nau Center, and the convention center garage.  Houston hasn't seen anything like this since the early 1980s.

East of Main down Texas and Capitol was pretty desolate for a long time. I'm sure the folks that refurbed the Magnolia are loving all of this.

Yeah, this project has about 8 other companions along capitol.

I think Rusk has 10 total.

But the grand Daddy is still Main with 12 projects.

I was wondering when we would get more residential announcements.

You are missing a few.

Main:

Greenstreet updates

Springhill Suites

Marriott (or is that 806 main?)

State National Bank

Sunset Coffee Building

So that looks like four more for main.

For Rusk you are missing the GRB upgrade.

By the way, on your original list fur Capitol, you missed the Incarnate Word Garage

To sum everything up, basically every street along light rail.

Something that is underconstruction but not on the development map is the UHD faculty lot between Main and Milam on Giraud. They demoed the old garage ages ago. So that brings the downtown number to 13.

I think when you throw in midtown the number for Main goes up to 18.

Its 20 when you throw in TMC.

Main is moving on up.
