I wanna say yes... I remember the building still being there back in the 80's. I think it was by a flea-market or something across from the church on Crosstimbers. But I barely remember, it's been so long.

I found information on it online, it was at 650 w.crosstimbers.   I'm not sure when it closed down though.

Yes that's it. I remember there was an entrance there where the new town homes sit at now in the background. But the address seems a lil bit off. The street that in the back ground is Holy Cross or something like that.

The address might be off.  I got it off the internet.

I think the last time I went there was around 1994 or 1996.

Okay, here is what I have gathered so far, the name of the flea market was "Star Mall" I want to say that the name of the bowling alley was "Star Bowling Alley" or something but I could be wrong. Now the hunt is on for pictures.

There is a party hall there named Star Party Hall in a lil shoping strip in the same property where the bowling allye use to be. I'm wondering if the same people still own that lot? That would be cool if they did, they might have pictues of the old bowling alley.

Yes, there was. Before it was a flea market, it was a department store called "Shopper's Fair".  It was at the east end of the property and on the land near it WAS an AMF bolwing alley, a post office (if I remember right) and a President's/First Lady Health Club.

It is just North of St Matthews Methodist Church. A certain group of heathens would somehow find their way over there to shoot pool after being dropped of for Sunday School. I heard.

  • The title was changed to Bowling Alley At 650 W. Crosstimbers St.
