Yankee_in_TX
It's a freakin' compound. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome, especially the roof terrace. But that expensive of a house next door to a distribution facility? And surrounded by a defunct condo development? (also ran across 705 Herkimer - nice freakin' house, but the same distribution center AND a bayou seems to 'end' against the property). Just wondering if anyone knew anything about the place. (Sunday was nice and we rode Nicholson from 25th to Target ad back).
sevfiv
From late last year (713 Waverly):Travels to Latin America inspired Robert Coreale's Heights home, which he calls Fort Robert.Built in 2002, the home combines modern high ceilings, expansive windows and an open floor plan with dark and rustic furnishings and accessories.Fort Robert, at 713 Waverly, is one of seven abodes on next week's Houston Heights Association Holiday Home Tour, Home for the Holidays.Designed by architect Joe Milton, Coreale's 3,000-square-foot house is well-hidden behind a large stucco wall and wooden gates, Mexican hacienda-style. Nearly 50-foot giant Japanese timber bamboo frames the sides and back.http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/life/main/6741890.html705 Herkimer belongs to these folks:http://www.texasadventureracing.com/
