memebag
I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be a thread about the new Turkish-American center on W. Bellfort, just inside the beltway. Apparently it opened on Dec. 2nd and Madeleine Albright cut the ribbon.

I am still hoping either/both will spur restaurant development or maybe have a food court. There are usually a couple of cars at Raindrop but only once have I seen any activity at India House, but I only go by during the day, never in the evening.Raindrop Turkish HouseIndia House

20thStDad
I know nothing about architecture or style so you people can make fun of me, but I think the offset windows in the arches look cool, like eyes.
memebag
I'm not especially impressed by the architecture, but I dig having a Turkish-American center down the road from me. (Here in the suburbs!)

lockmat
Not that I'm offended or anything...I was just wondering what the law stated. It might be appropriate for an officer to confront them on it but I wouldn't want to read or hear about it in the media.
memebag
Not sure about flags not on poles...There are no penalties for violations of the flag code, so while you're not supposed to display the US flag that way, there's absolutely nothing law enforcement can do about it.
