readam
Dined at Christie's a few nights ago and it was pretty good seafood( fried shrimp and stuffed shrimp) I realize that it is not as expensive and "a place to be seen" as some of the new "fish houses" in town and it seems to be a bit better than Red Lobster for quality and taste. It has been years and years since I dined ( OK the last time was a trout sandwich in my youth) at the old Main location and so I gave it another try after all these years. Just wondering what other HAIFers thought about the place.
Dub
I go by there once or twice a year for the fried shrimp with roumallade (sp?) sauce and to see if Mr. Christie is still cruising the tables shaking hands while solicting quality comments. It's also nice to go somwhere for a change where I am not banished to the bar for an hour to drink $8 glass house wine while looking at unoccupied tables.
