FoUTASportscaster
Hey folks, I am hoping you guys can help me with a problem. I was doing research on Metro and came across the wikipedia page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolitan_...s_County,_Texas. It says that the service area is 1,285 square miles. When I looked at the member cities section and added up the square mileage, I came to only 668.6 square miles. Can you guys help me with the other 600+ square miles? VicMan
Man, that's a lot of unincorporated area. How urbanized is it?A lot of it is highly urbanized. Look at this map: http://www.ridemetro.org/SchedulesMaps/Pdf...-System-Map.pdfHeavily populated areas include FM 1960 area, the western area of Alief ISD, many parts of Aldine ISD, much of Katy ISD along the I-10 corridor, and bits of southeast Harris County...
