MidtownCoog Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 When did they put red lights on the top of Enterprise Plaza and Chase Tower? Quote
jayshoota Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Last night was the first night I believe. I didn't think anything could look worse than clear Christmas lights but the red ones do the job! Quote
memebag Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 That's odd. I noticed the red lights on the Chase Tower last night, too. I imagined they'd been there for a while, since I rarely see that building at night. Quote
MidtownCoog Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 I've been working late and coming in early this week. Last night and this morning was the first time I saw them.Must be for Valentines ;-)They do look a bit silly, but how they relfect off the other buildings is neat, especially as the sun comes up with Fullbright glowing off the east. If I could just capture this in a picture. The only blight is the overly lit Harris Co. parking garage; now that is one ugly mug. Quote
travelguy_73 Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 (edited) Actually, I believe it is for National "Go Red for Women day" (the American Heart Association event). Hines will light up the following Houston properties in red: Edited February 1, 2008 by travelguy_73 Quote
MidtownCoog Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 Very cool. MidtownCoog scooped it! Quote

Subdude Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Sounds very nice! I wish they would keep it that way. The white lights are B-O-R-I-N-G Quote
new major on the block Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Thats funny because my brother and I were driving through downtown that thursday night, Jan 31st, on our way to the casinos in Louisiana and I also noticed that the chase tower was lit up wih red. But I like it better than those plain white lights that are everywhere around town and have been for years and years. A little change is good even if it is just for a little while. Quote
