They were having some sort of carnival on the Knowles property (House of Dereon, Music World) at LaBranch and Webster tonight. I looked around and didn't see exactly where the kids were getting in, it looked a bit like a private party. Maybe Solange had a big, private carnival party for her son's b-day, or maybe St. John's Church was having some sort of kiddie ministry carnival. I dunno, someone here know?

I also saw this last night. There was a line of HISD school buses along Hadley, maybe this was a party for school kids

I saw a line of school buses parked on Webster (north side of the property). My guess is they are doing it to help underprivileged kids. If so, kudos to them.

You could see the Ferris Wheel while approaching the Pierce Elevated from both 59 and 288. Must've been quite the bash if it was for a birthday party.

My wife and I saw this and were joking this was an event either for the underprivileged or over privilegedrprivileged.

Not sure what was going on Saturday night, but a "Gospel Concert" featuring some major names in the Gospel industry was held Friday night. They were raising Funds and Food for a charity(i believe Beyonce/Kelly Rowland via World Music), so the Saturday event may have been a continuum of that?? or like someone mentioned, a Bday party for the privileged papoose!
