Is this by the same developer as The Tower at Hermann Place? If so, I'm guessing they decided to move ahead with this project first instead of the tower.

Thanks Triton! I miss the look of the other condo tower, but hopefully the new one will have a great design to it as well. Also good to hear more information on Phase II.

Sweet. The leasing center off of Dunlavy?
Yep.
did that photo come from bisnow? who took it?
It's from The Sovereign's facebook page.

In the background, there's a new model of Regent Square over at The Sovereign's leasing center. It looks to be different from the overall plan we've seen. Someone should go check it out and take some pics for us. :-x

1.Downtown
2.TMC
3.Uptown (for now, most of the buildings in Uptown are too far apart, and rather bland IMO).
I really like this shot of the TMC.

We found Ron (right) with Tribble & Stephens' Van Martin during yesterday's networking. He says he'll be announcing more details about his Uptown Park redevelopment this year. And he says he could have news for all his Post Oak properties. (Ron knows that if you keep them guessing, you keep them coming back.) That might include some hospitality—he says there are about 10 possible hotel projects floating around Uptown. Ron's a fan of horizontal rather than vertical mixed-use (he's also a fan of Jimi Hendrix—Ron caught his last tour).

Is this the first site plan that shows the tower location? Also looks like it could be a mixed-use tower, so maybe it's gonna be pretty tall. kudos to whoever wants to paste it here

RTKL is based in Dallas in the United States. They own the building according to Emporios website.
Noooooo. RTKL Associates is the architect, they came up with the design for 2929 Weslayan. PM Realty Group is the developer, the ones who purchased the site a few years back from another developer, and decided to build the 40-story high-rise.
*Edit: Emporis tells you that RTKL Associates is the architect, nothing there about them owning the building.
