Some news on the next phase:
The next building is slated for construction over the next year and will be built directly across the street. It'll be pretty similar to Phase 1, and Tim tells us it could potentially go single-tenant (he's talking to an interested group). Energy Architecture designed the project and Linbeck Group is GC.

This one will be similar to Alexan Heights, maybe a few floors taller.
Alexan Yale Street will be a multi-family development located at the northwest corner of Yale and 5th Streets. The development will consist of approximately 380 luxury rental units. Average unit size will be approximately 844 square feet. The clubhouse will consist of approximately 8,000 square feet and include the latest in amenity offerings. Additionally, Alexan Yale Street will feature a large, centrally located pool and courtyard with indoor/outdoor recreation areas. The property exterior will reflect the unique character of the Heights District by featuring a limestone and brick exterior, among other attributes. All interior corridors in the building will be conditioned.

Found this on Chron.com this morning. It's an animation walk-through. It's pretty impressive. The company that did this seems pretty good. I know the firm I work at hires animation company's to do cool stuff like this.
