  1. Houston (and Dallas) have sprawled out too much beyond the core. JP Morgan has been the tallest since the early 80’s so it was only a matter of time. I believe the height for this one would more likely be raised than downsized. 6xGuad’s height (same developers) was raised during construction from 848’ to 874’. There’s several projects proposed above 600’ and several sites that also have super-tall potential. I only expect the momentum to continue.

  3. It’s a minor mistake on Berkadia’s pipeline list. DLC Residential were previous owners of the site and sold to US Living. They are not involved in this project.
  4. I was in Galveston last weekend. The entire building is surrounding by scaffolding.

  7. Agreed. With Skanska planning a good amount of retail next door, Montrose Collective a few blocks over and a number of shops and restaurants within walking distance the area will be fine without it here.
