Kind of wanted to give this a bump and see what new info there was out there on the area. I am curerntly living in oak forest, 018 and have been priced out. Looked at Inwood but as a woman who's SO travels often, didnt know how safe I'd feel in the area. Met some really nice folks as I drove around the area and all said it was quiet and safe. Great homes, large lots... but those apartments everywhere! Where do you go at night if you are cooking and run out of something?? Thanks for your input!!

I had horrible service in 77007. Mail would only come 3 times a week and when it did it was wrapped in a big rubber band so it was pretty clear they were just stock piling it in the mail truck bc they were too lazy to come down to my part of the street unless they wanted a taco. Over here in 77018 the delivery is bliss. Every morning by 10 AM. I keep asking myself why I didnt move to oak forest sooner?

ive been inside the unit listed on HAR. It is a horrible lay out. Kind of like a single wide trailer. Couldnt imagine paying that much for 600 something square feet and CONSTANT traffic and people parking right by your fonr door... cant wait to see how this shakes out.

I wonder what is going on here? Havent seen any construction on the place in over a month. I was very curious to know who would buy one since they are all of 15 feet from that gorgeous building they are calling reign lounge. Reign has a huge second story patio. Imagine the noise in the townhomes. They are located on washington and jackson hill. On a happier note, the condo unit at snover and rose has finnaly sold after being abandonded for over a year. They are ripping out cabinets and carpet and I couldn't be happier!

We ate at the Broken Spoke off washington this past weekend. I highly recomend it. Staff and service were great. it is BYOB right now but they are working on getting a beer and wine permit.

yep... they all live by the galleria.. in some old ass condos that are now for rent. OR they live in pearland. that is why they park their big ass trucks and block my driveway. sorry about all the ass in this comment.. ive had a few beverages. btw haifers who do I need to call to get someone to tow a car that is blocking my driveway?

The same folks that own 6th street also own 1400, or is it 1800? Either way the place on shepard. The crowds at different times of the day vary GREATLY. I actually enjoy the food but the waitstaff sucks mostly. I was really excited when they opened bc I loved the patio but the place is so random. It is like they cant figure out what they want to be... Have you been there for the DJ? wtf?

The band that is playing saturday night is Honeybrowne. Great texas country band out of Austin. I think they go on at 7. They are playing in an area called the garden that is new this year. Sounds more geared to the general public.

That does sound like fun! I could see the wine bars and resturants getting in on this but what about the bars? I wonder how late the pedi cabs wil run?

My question is -- who is going to be stupid enough to buy the White Label townhouses right next door to Reign? They are like 15 feet away. Could you imagine?
