Eating a Felix was like eating in a museum. The Cajun place got a decent review: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/dining/cook/5613615

Today during lunch I saw a bum touching people and asking for money all while climbing up the cubes showing everyone his Debuffet. Oh the HUMANITY!
-
The best news. Duncan Donuts is coming.
-
People use to sit and smoke on the Debuffet in the old location. Why not let kids play on it? We used to call it "the jungle gym".

I wonder if this park with change downtown as much as MMP did.

Not to hijack, either, but: Where has all the good Tex-Mex gone? It is MIA IMHO.

Speaking of change in buildings, check out the elevator banks in 1100 Louisana. Everyday they cover-up wonderful stone walls with carpet in the name of progress. All of the abovewill some day need a anthropological architect.

Looking at houses - should I crawl in crawl space?
MidtownCoog replied to richardtb's topic in Houston Real Estate
Don't be cheap. Get a hired gun and stop wasting time with the friends and worrying about bug bites. Something tells me this "West U" house in on a RR Track. -
I thought there was already a Gringos near Green Tee. Or is that Johnny Tamales? As an original and native Southsider, there is only one true Pearland. The one that is East of Telephone.

Patio or small yard?
MidtownCoog replied to 20thStDad's topic in Houston Construction, Home Repair, and Improvement
You can do FlagStone without the gravel mix. They can set it and you don't have to worry about it. I've seen FlagStone (set) installed around $15.00/sf while PaveStone comes in around $10.00. -
Well there should be some sort of punishment for living in Katy. j/k But NYC says not to congestion zone pricing and Houston says yes? Who do we think we are, London?

Patio or small yard?
MidtownCoog replied to 20thStDad's topic in Houston Construction, Home Repair, and Improvement
You won't see your "money back" but it might help someone decide to buy your house later on. I did a HUGE PaveStone patio for less than $4K. Money well spent. -
This means nothing without Guy V. in the Hall. You don't coach three top 50 players along with the success he had in the NCAA tournaments and be left out.

Straight or gay? Court says Web site can't ask

Phobia, Schmobia. It's no different than a female asking for a female roommate instead of a male. -

I pity the fool who needs a Roomate Service. Gay and Straight. -

Did you use Weed and Feed? It kills young trees. -
The layout in a big venure sure has changed since "The Game of the Century" in the Astrodome with Houston vs. UCLA. Just listen to the crowd! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLhDsJ_rZ3c

Calipari would agree: "This is how we play," Calipari said. "We've played this way all year. People just haven't seen us. They want to say that it's our league, but our league is much better than it was three years ago with the breakup. Way better. Next year my prediction is that we'll get three teams in the NCAA Tournament. Three. So our league is not the issue. The issue is that we are really good." So, which are the other two teams that Cal thinks will join his Tigers in the Dance?

I am only spekaing to Rick's comments about not coming back to Houston and play UH. The series between the two schools is tied. One would think...I Instead keep playing Texas State, UC Davis, and TSU, et. al.
