Midtown lights were out of sync even when we had the "all at once" system.
Overall having the lights in sync makes it very difficult to change lanes.
You end up with a huge group of cars all moving along at about the same pace. You have to be a real haul-arse to move over.

Rice won the last CWS so they are top dog until proven otherwise.
I'll watch on TV though. Now if UH would have won last night I'd be there.
-
And Ul-la-la beat the lady Coogs in the Super before they fell to A&M.
Last night A&M eliminated the UH men to advance to the Super Regionals vs. Rice this weekend.
Southeast Texas is baseball country, for sure.

I haven't been following the topic almost at all because it isn't of great interest to me, but just to insert a couple of cents:
I do not support marriage or civil unions. I do not support differing tax treatments for married or single people. Government ought not be in any way shape or form involved in the relationships of its citizens. It is not their business.
By default, this means that I do not support gay marriage, but I do support equal rights for gays.
Somewhere, out there, there is sweet little honey (female) who could change your mind.
Patience young man.

1979 was the big one for me. It made a mess of the South Belt area.

Simply smashing. Have these people no shame in their pursuit of publicity?
I smell former Mayor Ken.

Of course you are {out} ... So sensitive the left, you are.
Put the camera down, get off the Internet, and go help your fellow man tomorrow.

Because the USA's problem with poverty is bad enough that the church can't solve it alone...
Sounds like you've given up on what people can achieve together and would prefer the state to be our nanny. The Godless left wants it that way.
What have you done for the poor lately?
I was at Star last week.
And I am still waiting for Red to define "RESPECT".

What's up with the paranoia over socialism? It seems that many people don't understand the fact that there are multiple levels of socialism. It's not binary. It's not like you have to chose between Marxism or complete anarchism.
It is possible to have a free market while providing some social services as well.
It is possible to improve the lives of the poor without destroying the rich.
It's the lazy I don't trust.
My family helps the "poor" through our church and our favorite charity is Star of Hope.
Why should this be the duty of the Govt?
Even France is waking up to the perils of Socialism. 1968 was a mistake.

Just a thought...
You are the one who brought your love child into this silly debate, not me.
-
What a lame response. That's Reverend "Wright" coaster, whom Kinkaid fully supports. Over your head Red. But RedScare won't define respect becuase he can't. It'll expose his self depreciating view of his own life.
And the Matchstick maker only Kinkaid will understand.
Kinkaid said he still make the same money as he did ten years ago. Well for one the man makes matchsticks, and for two, he supports socialsim.
No raises under socialism. No raises under Obama.
-
No, it didn't, but I would not waste my time explaining it to you. The fact that you would even bring a terrorist attack by a homeless terrorist group into a conversation about diplomatic relations between nations proves why.
Please define "respect".
And then explain the NATO Action aginst this "homeless terrorist group". NATO does not activate often.
Except when Madeline Halfbright and Clinton strong-armed them into bombing the Serbs to save the Muslims.
BTW, does anyone know what a "Wright coaster" is?That's folks like Kinkaid who flee evil-hearted Texas for the lovely East Coast and opine from their lofty perch.
The same man who wonders why he can't make a buck in today's economy. "Everything is Equal".
Under Obama, matchstick makers will earn the same as rocket scientists.
-
I like that he breaks with conventional wisdom and even his own Party from time to time. Conventional wisdom has seemingly gotten us TWO WARS, massive national debt, a weakened dollar, a housing crisis, trade deficits, healthcare crisis, poverty crisis, etc...
Don't be such a throwback matchstick maker.
Are you seriously questioning the Afghan war? I'd figure a wannabe Wright coaster like yourself would understand that NATO action.
Go back to posting "hilarious" pictures of Democrats in bunny suits or whatever, since you have no business asking any of these things from other people.?
You having trouble working your Internets?
But I have a feeling you are a Don't Ask, Don't Tell kinda GUY.
I'm a parent. If my daughter wants to cross state lines to get an abortion or not notify me, I've done something horribly wrong. If I've done something that wrong, I hope the state won't make her life more difficult. Is this child the left-over one from your first marriage? Does she even know who you are?
Good parenting can prevent teen babies.
The US used to be well respected in the world, and much of it owed to our diplomatic skills. We used to "walk softly and carry a big stick". Now, we act like drunk rednecks in a roadside honkytonk.Yes.
That respect led to 9/11, and don't forget that we were asleep at the wheel during the first WTC bombing.
I don't know how you define respect but I have a feeling you want it to make YOU feel good.

Obama also said he would also repeal the Bush tax cuts.
Great idea. This from the same guy who tells us how bad the economy is.
So let's make sure people have even less money.
-
It is refreshing to have someone have an explanation on why they don't like Obama based on actual issues.
It is. And it would be just as refreshing to hear an Obama supporter say why they like him.
Give it a try.
And you must have missed my post on his views on Civil Rights. Go read up on his site and tell me if that's not an agenda tailored for Black voters.

Barry will be exposed when the real campaign starts. Barry and Hillary don't debate issues.
So far he's had it very easy.
Barry will be added to the long line of Dem losers - Al, John and Barry.

A lovely ethnic blend, eh?

She requested a white guy.
"Get me more Whitey, quick!"

And is it really overkill to have a few flower shops near the world's largest medical center?
-
Kinkaid nailed it.
Not to mention, it's fun to walk through the coolers in the wee hours.
But man, it's hard to pick pretty flowers with a buzz.

Great quote from a 35 year old.
I do, however, enjoy the constant alluding to McCain's status as a grumpy old man (not to mention that of his supporters). Keep calling Obama supporters young, Coog. You'll put him in the White House.
I am still pulling for Clinton. That old witch still has some magic in her bag somewhere.
McCain and Clinton are equals in my eyes.
Of course not only the young support Obama. But Michelle makes sure they are front and center behinds O-man when he speaks. NPR (of all stations) had a story where Michelle was even positioning kids by color at one university.
-
Not to worry...
When Obama gets elected he'll have yellow cake and tea with Iran, and then we'll all get a long quite nicely. Chian and Russia would approve.
Obama - prefered by nine 8 out of 10 despots, tyrants and terrorists.
-
Jones, you have to go to Obama's Web site for any of this views. He refuses to talk about them in public; that or the press refuses to report on them.
Either way, go to his site if you dare.
Check out his views on civil rights. Basically he's all for enforcing rules that already exist.

I wonder why they pair it to prevent multiple Texas teams in the CWS? This is not the first year.
I guess the only way to get multiple Texas teams is for them to be in the "Protected 8" and win their Supers.
