Muslim? I doubt it.
But an opportunistic name changer in order to make the liberal left bow down before the one they serve?
Absolutley.
You have to admit it's a fair question if you are Muslim or not when you have a crazy arse name like Barrack Hussein Obama.

I am certainly not better off now than I was in the 1990s. The cost of food, housing, education, transportation, utilities, healthcare, insurance, etc... have all but wiped out any tax savings.
If you think things are bad now, just wait:

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.
"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," he added.

This place sounds like party central. Anyone ever been?
Narcotics, 150 arrested, 500 in the building serving booze in an after-hours club.
-
Obama supporters want Socialism.
And the "Change" he speaks of is the change in our pockets.
No big deal. Hillary will find a way to destroy him before it's too late.

It's pretty creepy if you ask me.

But that's what married people do. Make babies.
Which is why I would be fine with same sex civil unions instead of same sex marriage.
That's the big difference in my eyes.
Of course not all married couples have babies. Never figured those folks out myself. What's the point other than the money and benefits?

That natural cradle is why you are here today. A man and woman get married to continue it.
No matter how hard they try, two men or two women together can't.
-
Your spelling and grammar are an indication as to how seriously your sentiments should be taken.
Oh poo. You single folk don't even have a say in this.
Just be happy some of us take the "natural cradle" of life seriously.

The real problem is the kid is going to work for Goldman Sachs.

Somebody call Al.

My first marriage was performed by a witch, but we still had to go to the JP.
Oh good lord.
-
That makes sense. And it took a Breeder to explain it to me.
-
It seems the best argument gays can provide for being married is having access to benefits and bank accounts.
That in itself shows me a need for recognized civil unions. We don't have to call is marriage becuae it is not.
And TJones, were you asleep or durnk during your vows? Did you forget the "for better or for worse" part?
-
it's about going to the courthouse and signing a civil contract.
That's not what my marriage was about. I don't think you get it.
-
Civil unions would be fine, or just call it non-traditional marriages.
I think Pope Benedict XVI has it right when he says "traditional marriage is an irreplaceable good for the entire society, and the union between man and woman is the "natural cradle" of life".

Even judges get it wrong now and then. These judges think they are legislators.
The timing of this will hurt the Dems come election time. Now one of the most useless issues of all time will distract the masses even more.
-
This should be voted on. Judges have too much power.

I would not be opposed to an alternative to high school. I think vocational education is also a lost art we should bring back.
The illegal immigrant situation may be out of our control but we are going to still have to deal with it.

I am not worried about rankings.
I already said I am worried about high schoo dropouts.
College isn't for everyone, but High School sure should be.

Who remembers when Choate (now Dixie Farm) was a shale road?
-
I think you just picked my next vacation!
-
Was there some law passed that every road now has to be named "parkway"? St Joseph Parkway, Sam Houston Parkway, Fort Bend Parkway etc etc. They're never really parkways. It's just as annoying as the SoDo/TriBeCa nonsense. If only there could be some sort of ban on names dreamed up by marketing consultants.
The only real Parkway I have ever been on is the Baltimore Washington Parkway from DC to BWI.
All others are just imposters.

This is at the same time that they are reporting that the schools may be bankrupt within a few years as a result of Craddick's new school "funding" scheme.
Saw that. And we also have the most Fortune 500s! Whoopi-de-doo, Basil!
Not that it's exactly related, but you get my drift. At what price is all this success coming?
I feel like we are being used and abused. Texas is still the Wild West, for sure, no matter how citified we get.
