    I'm with Subdude. They can call it whatever they want, that area will always be the Galleria area to me. I think we should adopt this tactic of diluting the prestige of an area by broadening it. As of today, The Westbury is River Oaks South.

    I loved those yellow pages covers. I distinctly remember one from a bust year with a banner that read "Oh thank heaven for Chapter 11!", back when Houston had 7-11s and before Chapter 11 was reformed. I haven't used a physical yellow pages in 10 years or more. I don't like how many are delivered to my house. I'm going to mutilate one and post it on a stake near the front door to warn the others.

    Yeah, the Napoli's on Beechnut makes some decent pizza. They also play The Melodians' "Rivers of Babylon" every time I walk in the joint for some reason. That's sweet.

    All the other Collina's suck. Oh, how I wish they didn't. The ones I've tried have a different menu from that one by Berripop. Try the pepperoni "pizzette" on a Saturday afternoon for the best experience. If you don't like it then you have defective sense organs, which is unlikely since you're addicted to Berripop.

    Did you read the post? The Australian health care system has private doctors, private insurance, and all the other luxuries you want to spend your hard earned cash on.

    He's right. The rest of the industrialized world has figured out how to do this. We can benefit from their experience and pay less for better care. It will make the US a better place to live and do business.

    I got all of my shirts from rock concerts, and my jeans came from whoever had cheap jeans. Edit: Is this thread just about where chicks shopped in the 70s and 80s?

    I tried Choloso a few weeks ago and was not impressed. The eggs were watery and the tacos sort of bland. Baby Barnaby's makes a much better breakfast taco.

    I went to college, but I dropped out. There were raised eyebrows at my first couple of jobs when they saw I didn't have a degree, but since then all anyone cares about is my work experience and skill set. I might have made more on those first few jobs, but it wouldn't have been enough to cover the student loans I would have had to take out to stay in school. So don't go to school. You're just encouraging them by participating in the system.

    I haven't seen that. Where did you see it? I watch Top Gear every week on BBC America, but they're re-running stuff from 2005 I think right now. That's one of the best shows on TV.

    Did anyone see the Guru Maharaj Ji at the dome? My dad worked on a propaganda film about him that concluded with his appearance there. I wish I could find a copy.
