  1. Exactly. It wouldn't make sense for them to build their own building, when there a tower looking for a tenant about to be built in in Westcreek.
  2. They do contribute, that's why you have all the fast food restaurants in the tunnels. Beyond that, they don't support much more.
  3. I don't, I was just noticing when I was driving by the other day. The are using light tan and almost black brick, and tehy are doing some sort of fins running vertically; looks nice.
  4. The Hanover building is turning into one of those rare cases where the building looks better than the renderings. The building has some really nice brick work going on.
  5. This is not on the EC, this is the newly designated West Belt sub market; which has always been a collection of isolated suburban office parks.
  6. All the time - if I had places to go during the day I'd walk and take the bus, you'd just dress appropriately.
  7. If you want a walkable city and lifestyle, you have to get over it. I used to live in DC, and walked to and from work everyday - just like the majority of people that lived in the city. You walk regardless of the weather, rain, snow, cold, hot (and the summers there are just as hot and humid as here, but only for 6-8 weeks). You just need to wear the proper attire.
  8. You're missing the artwork inside the building - that's what makes the cost of the structure worth it. Like all the previous buildings in the campus, this is supposed to have a special filtering of natural light
  9. Why not, is there a budget for the mystery project?
  10. Most Novare projects have exposed concrete; it's kind of their thing.
  11. The crane is up. It seems really close to the edge of the street. Sorry I couldn't take a picture.
  12. I still think it could be the Energy Corridor. There are no condos there yet, but there could be demand, especially if they had easy access to Terry Hershey park.
  13. That would be nice. Not in Houston though.
  14. The fountains were meant to be a splashy feature (pardon the pun) to be showcased during the Super Bowl. They served their purpose.
  15. McDonald's sold part of its land for this development. I wouldn't say they ruined anything, they enabled the development.
  16. There actually is a new crane on the Shell campus.
