I hope whoever converts the building does the proper testing for and cleanup of the toxic chemical perchloroethylene (PERC) used for dry cleaning. -

Here is a great website http://www.airfields-freeman.com/index.htm .......it covers abandoned and little know airfield in the U.S. Houston has 4 sections under "Texas".

I ate at the OST location in the 1960's, I remember I really liked the Wheel Burger. -
We saw the Sound of Music there...it played for almost two years.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Briar Club in 1967.

Looking at all the pictures in the flyer it appears they found issues that required major demolition of the foundation throughout the building. Maybe some sort of conflict with the contractor, etc.????
