With the entrances on the streets between Shepherd and Durham, does this mean traffic lights will be installed at one or both of the intersections? Will that affect how the Shepherd/Durham corridor is constructed from 4 to 3 lanes?
This goes in line with walkable places, removing entrances from main strets and placing them on auxiliary side streets

Only confusing thing here if it’s going to be a restaurant is that the floor plan proposes 3 leases

He was on site and wanted to understand the nature of the request more. He said he will back up the request to add ADA ramps and restripe the crosswalk on the east side of Shepherd as requested. He said it could take about a month to do if approved.. we will see

3423 is currently Lilith’s Way which also houses The Montrose Forge
those renderings show the building wrapped around in a long ramp presumably to meet ADA — is it me or are those things horrible looking? Are there other ways to make a space accessible?

I heard from one of the developers they’re planning a 20-something story residential tower with cvs on ground floor

Would be so amazing to have a dense city built out there. I was in Dallas in victory park and it’s so cool how the AA Center is now surrounded by high rises, shops and the trailhead for a world class greenway

Am I the only one that would welcome a hotel with open arms to Houston neighborhoods?

I want to like Andy’s. I used to many years ago but they’ve gotten so lazy. Last few times I’ve been there something is wrong with the food, not to mention their inattentive and rude staff

From HPB website https://houstonparksboard.org/5050-park-partners-community-engagement/
Love Park include replacing playground equipment, adding a new exercise station, consolidating picnic areas to create more open space, improving the baseball field, repairing walkways, re-aligning the walking trail, and improved lighting.

I think that'd be great. If they did that, they could also set up stalls for a permanent mercado. Maybe even arcade some of it?
(I really need to stop proposing things I have no ability to realize.)
What do you mean by arcade?

I strongly believe we need more fast casual options that will get more daily patronage from locals than these places that sell $39 entrees. I really hope that not everything needs to be elevated just to pay rent. For example, why don’t we have a poké place or any Colombian food? A place like Mi Pueblito would kill it out here

11th St. westbound at Shepherd is an awkward mess right now, as there is enough space for two lanes, but it is unmarked. Could a right turn only lane be added here? Or will it have two lanes to help with traffic?
Also, the lack of bike lanes here makes me believe they won't continue along 11th St. to Durham's bike lane, which is unfortunate.
They didn’t finish the bike lanes to shepherd and Durham because the big Shepherd/Durham project will tie it together. A separate project will add wide shared use path to the north end of 11th all the way to TC jester

Is this the building with the mod-ish diamond trim around the top of the building or another spot? Seems a bit odd to rip out Michael Hsu's design instead of working with it.
Yes, it is that building. Who knows if they will rip it out. I just figured the renderings didn’t include it because maybe they didn’t have the design elements or something. Will be interesting to know!

Does anyone know what the remodel entails? It would be really smart if they made the chick fil a somewhat friendly and welcoming to trail users but I doubt they are thinking about that

Does anyone have confirmation that they'll actually put up barriers - either armadillos or concrete?
