  1. The social accounts are up and running for the spot - https://www.instagram.com/goldtoothtonys/?hl=en
  2. It absolutely is! Its his Pizza Concept (the thing that brought a ton of success as a pop up in Covid era) and the other concept is his sister's who is a WONDERFUL baker.
  3. Honestly the food that Anthony turns out at Rudyards is sooo good. And his pizza delivery platform and hot dogs are also damn good. This is great news!
  4. Wow that new line up actually looks great. Getting Angie’s and Little Louie’s would be phenomenal
  5. I have been watching a really intense perimeter fence go up and get painted - guess that wasn't pretty enough to be in the renderings? Not a huge deal as this is a day care but kinda odd that with the new renderings they never added it.
  6. Man that restaurant group was sooooo bad at operating restaurants. I am glad to see the RR get love an a new owner.
  7. Hoping this is going to be lovely patio and not just a parking area... because that is a big lovely space.
  8. Oh joy ANOTHER storage facility.
  9. Hoping we get a better use for this space than a a food stop!
  10. It’s a little shocking this isn’t a hotter spot for new life. Cool facade and great bones… what gives?!
  11. Yeah I get it but if your neighbor moves out and has their home on the market you don't get to take over their driveway while they are selling it. It's more of an optics thing and its easy to go after the big bad developer. At least that's my take after reading the article.
  12. This is a fascinating question - it does also appear to have been a lot of warehouses and such at some point in the last 50 years. Really is changing a lot - a lot like whats happening on the east end of town. I am super hopeful the Shep/Durham upgrades will start to make it easier in the coming years to cross via foot and bike to Timber Grove and beyond. Lotta great stuff popping up but it always feels like getting from the Heights to Timber Grove is more work than it should be - unsafe and like playing frogger on foot or bike and even in a car parking is a nightmare at many great spots.
  13. So I am a little torn - I don't think either of the tex-mex concepts in this location were every especially great. A couple good standout items at each but I don't have a ton of love loss. That said, as an Allston St resident I am very excited that this clutch location is getting a new tenant fairly quickly. Hoping its home to great food, drinks and staff. The heights really is loyal to consistently good businesses.
  14. Super lovely burgers and team - its a shame to "lose them" from greater heights region but love that they are getting their own brick and mortar!
  15. VERY excited to have more sandwiches around - with all the great food in Houston I still feel like we dont have a ton of great sandwich options. Wish it were a local one off but hey I am down for a good hoagie regardless the home base!
  16. Love this so much. Such a great building.
  17. I am kinda pumped for this now... and LOVE that its got a big ole patio!
