Colliers "For Lease" sign is down for the two commercial units. No longer appears online either. Possible both units are leased out or they are switching realtors.

You’d def be on a very (relatively) short list of people in the entire history of the world who have visited Suriname!
Paging Noel Philips.

Sad, but not surprised. It was convenient, if not incredibly bipolar with pricing.

Personally I always feel like D is a UA afterthought with all the non-UA international flights. Obviously some fly out of there, but it just doesn't feel like the role of that Terminal.
That said, maybe now that it's up to two flights a day, maybe Turkish will go for a star alliance lounge in D and Air New Zealand and UA pitch in a bit so that it's open to more than just Turkish

Wow, I'm loving all the vegetation and how it works and looks so awesome with the wonderful architecture of this area. This is becoming a magnificent jewel of an addition to downtown Houston !
Lot of trees got moved/planted on the Jensen side. Also lit up in green/purple. Looks nice.

Food looks amazing but menu and price point are extremely similar to Gatsby's which failed at the same location. Hope it works out better for this team. Definitely looking forward to trying it out.
I think the biggest problem with Gatsby's was less the price (which I agree was not in line with what it should have been) but their wildly inconsistent food, overt mismanagement, and poor service. All of which likely stemmed from trying to open two new restaurants at once.

Update since it was unlisted: $2.5 Million, cash, is the ask.

After years of not being used, the Boys and Girls Club at 2411 Canal is for sale. Saw the sign go up today.

I couldn't find another thread for this, so started a new one. Feel free to merge into an existing thread of it exists.

Honestly, I’m also not sure how many transplants from NYC, Chicago, Boston, etc. are frequenting Astros games.
I've been on the conference circuit a lot in the past few months, both in Houston and out of state, and it seems "go to an Astros game" is a thing a lot of out of towners are doing while here for a conference. They seem to all end up at the Rustic or something similar. Post seems "too far."

I wonder what McCaul's beef with Texas Central is? Probably that it doesn't go through his Houston-Austin district...

So when this river overflows during a heavy rain, then what?
I can smell the bait, but I'll bite. It doesn't. I have the Harvey pics to show it.
*MAY* get up to that wooden overlook thing.

Looks like the lights are back up, but in different spots (attached to preexisting utility pole). Poles and street signs (like the ones for Jones Elementary that closes in 2006) are removed.

Lights and poles are coming down today.

That pool is very tiny, wow. I wonder how many more they will have.

Side note, I toured one of the existing houses a while ago. They are SKINNY. Its basically enough width to fit one car and a stairwell.
Yes. They are two cars deep, but only 1 car wide. Very interesting layout, I know some folks living in them.

I've seen their food truck there with a table out. I have been meaning to try it. Sorry about the driveby

I guess the symbiotic Cidercade/Southside pizza relationship is over. For the best, honestly. Southside is terrible.
