  1. Why are we always getting these Dallas based restaurants in our new developments like this one? Is it the same the other way around?
  2. It was always an eyesore traveling this part of I10. Sure it's not the best development for the area but an industrial park this close to downtown was worse. So if you had to choose either or, which one would you choose?
  3. It's better than what was there before. So glad the warehouses are gone. Now that was pathetic.
  4. This is an example of how Houston has invested in its people by re developing it's green spaces to which it gets back it's investment with developments like these popping up. We Houstonians know how great this area is and it's potential. Well outsiders now see what we see.
  5. Sorry thumbs down on your post. There are worst things this can become and a church going here isn't one. You don't have to drive by or visit this facility. Take a chill pill or BC Powder. You act like they're opening a three story crack house. Sheesh, some people just like to b***.
  6. The NFL Experience hasn't sold out in 20 years! Great job Houston! This area looks great and there is another 1 billion dollars in residential , office and hotel yet to be developed .
  7. I can understand the frustration for people from out of town. If you're local, the news kept telling us Houstonians to experience the events the opening weekend. I listened and went before the out of towners arrived and had a great time. Obviously it was going to get really crowded THE DAY BEFORE THE SUPER BOWL!
  8. Business is about to pickup. The Patriots And Falcons logos will be all over the GRB now. Welcome to HTX! It's SHOWTIME folks.
  9. We know that the MM is the game changer of Hotels in Houston and after the Super Bowl it will be THE hotel everyone will want to stay and ask about. What do you think will be the response from new and existing hotels to have that wow factor? Does this force new proposals to redesign?
  10. Seems like they know there is some serious competition on the way.
  11. There's nothing wrong with a little healthy competition. I hope the competition between Uptown and Downtown is as competitive as the Cavaliers vs the Warriors. In the end, we as Houstonians and our wonderful visitors will be the winners. I'm really curious about this update.
  12. Who would I need to talk to to get the " WE LOVE HOUSTON" sign moved to Discovery Green. People would love to take a picture with it and it would become an iconic symbol for Houston . Let's get the ball rolling on this
  13. Is it just me or does this building look like a 40 story vagina when lit? I wish downtown would incorporate more creative lighting.
  14. I'm assuming the hotel component will mirror the glass facade. This would really standout traveling down 59
  15. This may be the most underated development on haif. I hope this will spark a new trend of more live music in Houston. Cannot wait to visit!
