  1. https://eastriverhtx.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/190605-East-River-Office-Leasing-Brochure_CES.pdf Leasing brochure has been updated recently. edit: just realized that all the buildings are set for a 2021 building completion based on the brochure. Hopefully it's Q1 or 2.
  2. BBP's finalized plan for the East Sector is set to release in the next couple of months and took East River into major consideration as far as I have heard.
  3. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/article/Hemp-company-to-begin-processing-in-old-Maxwell-14132473.php?utm_source=sftwitter&utm_campaign=socialflow&utm_medium=referral
  4. This is great. A few notes. 1. There is a pedestrian bridge crossing from the south side of the bank to the north. 2. A dog park is listed (originally, buffalo bayou partnership said no dog parks in their program) 3. The Kayak launch. 4. Outdoor movies being a re-purpose of the Silos makes a lot of sense after their art display there. I really like that there will be plenty of green space to absorb water versus going all concrete and I'm very happy to see a good developer utilizing the land.
  5. Great find, I used to walk by the place that was there before all the time (I believe it was a salon with coffee) but never went in for coffee because of the salon portion. I'll check this out once it's open for sure.
  6. https://www.eastenddistrict.com/wp-content/uploads/June-2019-Board-Meeting-Agenda.pdf Looks like the board will be looking to approve the selection of the committee assigned to the project this Thursday.
  7. I think one of these developers is going to buy both properties eventually but if we have all of these projects finished first, people moving in are going to take some time to get used to it. That park is completely a waste unless there is an event going on. I'm not sure what could be done to fix this issue except as mentioned above both properties on Jensen being bought out.
  8. Yea that makes sense, the lot with the metal structure on it? Additionally I was wondering if the lot east of Jensen and south of the Bayou in front of the existing town homes was a possibility. I've seen some activity there and despite there being an advertising for another company, I couldn't find anything about them online.
  9. Does anyone know where the second planned project is? They are calling it "East Bayou." I really hope that the health amenities (Yoga etc) they speak of become available to the public to use. This area is kind of lacking in the health options that EaDo seems to be collecting.
  10. With Yoga in mind for the developer. I would love to see Black Swan make their way over to the East Side. They offer pay $10 or more as a "donation" when you go to a class and provide people an opportunity to practice Yoga without a huge commitment.
  11. I don't love the idea of it being in the bayou. Seems like it is so wide that it would take up nearly all of the channel. This would place a burden on any potential for a focus on kayaking. I think if it were moved to this area it would be inside of the museum as a focal point.
  12. Updated listing on loopnet. Looks better than the most recent rendering. Still no new tenants listed. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/2929-Navigation-Blvd-Houston-TX/4614746/
  13. I'm still holding out hope that the movie theater is the first Alamo Drafthouse inside the loop. The Maritime Museum originally planned to break ground in mid 2018 and open in late 2019, so maybe that gives us a timeline of the first phase? With groundbreaking underway maybe we can see some stuff begin to open in late 2020 or early 2021. That's much earlier than I had originally expected.
  14. http://eastriverhtx.com/ site has been updated with two brochures https://midwaycompanies.sharepoint.com/sites/Marketing/East River/Forms/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2FMarketing%2FEast River%2FCollateral%2FBrochures%2FLeasing%2FOffice%2F190319 EastRiver - Office - CES Folder%2F190319 EastRiver - Office Spreads - CES.pdf&parent=%2Fsites%2FMarketing%2FEast River%2FCollateral%2FBrochures%2FLeasing%2FOffice%2F190319 EastRiver - Office - CES Folder&p=true&cid=9320239a-9036-4f2f-8242-bf35b47ee0be https://midwaycompanies.sharepoint.com/sites/Marketing/East River/Forms/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2FMarketing%2FEast River%2FCollateral%2FBrochures%2FLeasing%2FRetail%2F190424 East River Retail - CES Folder%2F190424 East River Retail Spreads - CES.pdf&parent=%2Fsites%2FMarketing%2FEast River%2FCollateral%2FBrochures%2FLeasing%2FRetail%2F190424 East River Retail - CES Folder&p=true&cid=7e5b89a3-aa12-4c86-82ed-217a510eca4d
  15. yes that's the one, i honestly thought they were part of the same tract because I always just pass by them both quickly and associate them together for some reason. Thanks for the photo. Is there any information on the signage suggesting what kind of tenants they are seeking? edit: That property is located at 2019 Franklin and is listed as sold in 2018 to A & S RISE LLC. It's listed as a commercial new construction.I couldn't find anything additional.
  16. I drove by yesterday, I noticed new signage with a site preview. I couldn't quite make it out but i don't remember seeing this particular sign. Next time I go by I'll try to snap a picture.
  17. I drive by this spot quite often and was wondering the same thing. It's a great location and I would love to see that little pocket between downtown and the East End more utilized .
  18. I really hope we get pretzels here. Mongoose versus Cobra has my favorite in town.
  19. agreed. I don't think this location is terrible because it is right off the transit and it's not bothersome but... The Heights recently protested one near white oak bayou and I believe the developer pulled back the scale at the least. Critical Mass (the monthly bike ride) had moved to the Heights from Downtown and they protested, so the city dumped them in the East End. It's pretty frustrating as a resident of the neighborhood that whatever the Heights doesn't want they just place it in the East End and decide that no one in the East End will protest quite like the Heights.

  22. https://www.eastenddistrict.com/wp-content/uploads/April-Board-Mtg.-Agenda.pdf 13. B. 3. is a note that they will report on the roundabout in the board meeting this week. http://tirz23.org/accountability/agendas/ April 2019 Agenda 10. Consider partial payment of reinvestment zone contribution to construction of roundabout at Jensen and Navigation. So I'm guessing they will pick up where they left off on this? I never heard whether they voted to continue with an additional study to determine how to go forward
  23. I wonder when Southside Flying Pizza will open. They seem to have hit a stand still with permits by the looks of the notices on the window the last time I was over there. Hunington has listed a small parcel for sale directly behind this parcel. Has some updated stuff on the map including Marquette. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/Sec-Navigation-Boulevard-At-Canal-St-Houston-TX/15631505/
  24. I think they underestimated people's ability to find documents like this without specifically having it labeled under East River. Probably part of their direct to retailers marketing materials but as indicated by their lack of updates on their website and social media, not quite intended for public consumption. They have been mostly silent since the bid for Amazon. Even when they added new renderings, it was simply added into the brochure without any announcement. I'd imagine they wanted to wait until a few retailers were committed to share this. Every morning I drive past the lot and there are definitely construction workers moving dirt around.
