  1. All the time  Most is good though. Facebook is where I cannot believe some don't use better judgement.

Linked In is another one that should always be professional unless the person is an idiot. Many, and I do mean many employers use these sites to see what kind of a freak, or business like person you are...well at least while at work. Hee, hee

    Yes we do!

I am actually looking to hire a part time web person who actually 'gets' social networking. I WANT to see what kind of personality they exude in social networking arenas.

  2. Then you're ordering it wrong. Try twenty boneless cajun-flavored hot wings from Pizza Hut/Wing Street. At that point it is debatable whether you are actually eating wings, but I just don't care. They taste really good and the remaining sauce at the bottom of the container can be taken home for later consumption with other dippable food items.

For the record, I didn't invite you. :D

I ordered Wing Street (or maybe it was Wing Zone) wings a couple of weeks back. They were hot (heat) and spicy (flavorful) but man ... were they greasy!

  3. A station that plays all sorts of music at different times with plenty of talking and interruptions....like the rest of FM/AM

you get what you pay for....

    LOL

Yeah, that's radio. Like I said, get an iPod, subscribe to podcasts of your choice (most are still relatively commercial free), and/or listen to streaming 'Net radio.

  4. The body of the article isn't exactly earth-shattering news. You'd almost come away thinking that New Zealand invented the one-night stand.

Funny that you just came across this article now...it's over a year old.

News is news when you read it right? I hadn't seen it, so it was news to me.

  5. No big surprise there.

Yeah, remember when all the politicians and their operatives were on televisions saying pretty much the same things about the economy and why these huge expenditures had to happen now or else...

    Americans are so gullible.

  6. They probably think it's immoral or something.... .................

Yeah, we still can't buy alcohol (including beer) here on Sundays before noon. What's that all about if not some religious prohibition...?

  7. Won't do any good. Radio Stations are like tracks of land or storefronts. They are going to reconfigure to draw the largest audicence in the demographic that they want. If the burger joint isn't drawing customers, they'll shut it down and turn it into a Mexican resturant. It's all about the benjamins baby. The music is just a vehicle to get you to hear the commericals.

Just move to Satallite Radio like I did. 170 commerical-free channels with music choices in each and every stripe! At only $12/month it's a steal!

I havn't listend to FM since....

Or like a good majority of other folks, free streaming on the 'Net and iPods with your choice of music in the car.

  8. We'll all find out 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.

No one knows. Not even the current DJ's.

    Maybe soon to be former.

That has to be a shuddy experience for the DJs no? I mean, they could come in tomorrow and find out they have to play polka or something...

    ...and love it.

I decided to make the XM plunge last month and I havn't listeded to terrestial radio every since. I just love "Watercolors" on Channel 71...just like 95.7 before the switch...but without the commericals!

About the only time I really listen to 'radio' is in the car. At home, it's mainly either streaming music or podcasts on iTunes.

  9. Sure it does. It's classified as "Elsewhere in Texas". I mean, let's face it--if you're outside the loop and not in The Woodlands or Conroe, you may as well live in Dallas.

    Apparently so... or the Moon.
