The Entertainment Zone would allow establishments within 300 feet of a church or school to sell alcohol, within the limits of the Entertainment Zone. In the proposed area (slide 4 of the linked presentation above), the affected properties would surround Trinity Episcopal Church & Holy Rosary Catholic Church. There would be 14 affected properties in total.
To provide an opinion or feedback on the proposed zone, please feel free to email Nikki Cooper directly at Nikki.Cooper@houstontx.gov, or email the MSN at info@midtownsn.org.- 4

1) We walk slower...There’s no East Coast sense of “urgency” or “energy” of the Bay Area; yet the easy pace has a unique bayou city feel that goes along with our climate. 80 percent humidity just makes you move slower lol.
maybe we're just less healthy and not used to walking. I tell people I'm going to walk to Montrose from MidMain area and they think that's crazy far to walk.

Might as well extend the rail down here so I can take light rail to all sports.

I wonder how often these monitors malfunction? I wonder how soon after the fire stops that the monitor will be repaired?
"It broke!" *wink wink*
Should we be relying on TCEQ or Harris County to provide accurate information? There should probably be more citizen/private monitoring considering the money at stake. Would possibly provide a more accurate air quality map, accounting for wind, varying sources, sensor drift, etc.

They had the Interio Bar sign up on Main. Forgot to take a picture. Looks ready to open.
It's open, didn't go in as I was meeting friends elsewhere. The sign wasn't lit up. There are a few pictures on their Facebook page.

The Swamplot demo report was always SFR focused. I think HAIF does a good job of covering demo sites for future large developments.

Yeah the search is definitely broken. I've resorted to using a google site search to find post.

Would be nice if some of the other transit centers got this treatment.

I'm sure it's nice to have the option of two different toll roads when you want to drive south from the Woodlands, but these things come at a cost. Redundant toll roads might be nice for the Woodlands but it hurts the people who have to live next to an 18 lane behemoth.
I'm sure Hardy will be the preferred toll road to get to IAH.
