Ah, I see. That goes against the information that was given to me by people that interviewed that mental defect (May whatever devil shove something sharp and uncomfortable in every oriface).
But as far as I know, my information was good, but he DID put out alot of information, so it's possible I might have missed something.

The "Turner Diaries" is about 2 people over throwing the goverment, blowing up buildings, destroying cities, to begin earth as a pure... (White race). Yes the book is racist, and so was Tim, am I? no... I just know about it.

Well, if someone had any smarts, that was almost done several years ago.
McVeigh (May the Devil give him metal spiked suppositories dipped in lemon juice and inserts them with great vigor) took out the wrong Government building.

They should make a transitional plaza, which would be a large sunken plaza accesible by stairs and maybe an elevator, too, and the plaza would have its own shops, and it could be terraced. That would be cool!
The kind of have that at the Wells Fargo (Louisiana Street?) entrance...

Well, I would like to believe Galveston would reach 100,000, but a lot of replys lately on the board are like "I wouldn't ever consider living on the island". How does Galveston grow in population when more than just infrastructure problems are frowned upon by potential residents?
Well I mean, alotta people talk shiz-at about Houston, but there still seems to be a population of 2,000,000 and strong... Look at all of our streets, the worst pot holes I have ever seen, that havn't been fixed in years...
-
Gawd thats errie...
I didn't know the English burried Plaque victums in Houston... ?!
-
Isn't the population 50,000? Well I remember and old new cast, from Fox (KRIV) and they said that theres already about 100,000 people on the island each day, including the residents. Well they are having ALOT of new high-rise development... I could see it, aslong as Houston continues to grow, so will Galveston.

I find it so funny to see progress on this building. Especially after I got into an argument with a Harris County employee about the building. He insisted it wasn't going to be built. That there was no plan to build it. That it wasn't happening. For some reason he was in total denial.
This was the same employee who came up with all of the financial statistics the anti-rail movement used before the referendum.
Dumbass.
Serious...

Thats true, and a very valid point.
But why does the original one look darker in the second one? Its true color is like the first rendering.

WOW the tunnel has more to offer (WAY MORE) the Main street!

Its about time they set up this kind of site. I think sprucing up the Bayou could be a #2 or #3 priority.
-
Hmm..looks like it got affected by the Orion somehow....
Still, looks cool!
It blows compared to the first one...

The rendering looks waaay different from the real thing. if you look, the real one has more arched windows. And I was wondering- is that borwn facade part of the new design, or will it be painted?
You would hope it was the same color, to match the other building. Besides, a brown dome ontop wouldn't look very good in my opion. I like the one in the drawing better, but I guess I can't judge it until its complete.

You're tellin' me that you don't think Target is high fashion? They got one of them in the Galleria area too. It's where I take all my chillins to get their clothin'.
But if you lived in the Woodlands, and drived all the way to the Galleria, to shop at Target?
Talk about wasting gas.

Its not that bad, now if where 30 stories tall, then we would have to demolish it.

I think once you reach a certain age (80? 90?) they should test you again.
My gramps has hit parked cars, poles, and various other things. So far he's never hurt himself or anyone else, but that day is coming I'm sure. He's a spry old man, just HORRIBLE eyesite and nearly deaf.
He refuses to not drive. Everytime his insurance goes up because of his "accidents" it just makes him angrier and refuses even harder to be driven or give up.
Why exactly? If you had to take a big test, to drive, and then they make you do it over again, even though you passed it once? This will never pass. This reminds me of a particular South Park episode...

And like the BWI Parkway from DC to BWI.
Nothing but forest, and an excellent escape route when I-95 is hozed.
And where did the Greenspoint mall topic go into Washington DC?
-
This will be hard, with Mall hours, and Gunspoint, I mean Greenspoint...

Are you referring to the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in downtown?
If so, I believe they are still raising funds for it. They put an outline on the ground to show how big it will be.
I think the bell tower has been taken off the plan to save costs.
The BIG cathedral? It was so pretty! Well I am glad someone has some news on it...
-
Can anyone put up some better pictures? When I search for them, all I get are other Wells Fargo buildings... Does anyone have personal, or other photos of the building they would so kindly share?

I noticed we didn't have a thread for the UTHealth University Professional Building Parking Garage located at 6414 Fannin St.
Wasn't there a remodel on this parking garage not to long ago?

Citykid,
You were wondering about Montrose boundries......
I think the official boundries are pretty small (just like the Heights), but I have always thought of the general boundries as roughly 59 and shepheard north to allen parkway, east to taft, south to westheimer, east to spur 527, west to 59, back to shepheard.
Others may have a tighter radius, but that's what I've always thought when thinking Montrose.
I think of the General "Montrose" area, between the American General Center, and Hermann Park. Sometimes the flare is still the same...
