If any casinos should come to the region, they should be in Galveston.

Nyc World Trade Center
UrbaNerd replied to WestGrayGuy's topic in Meanwhile, In The Rest of the World...
Its ok, but not the best. I HATE how the architects are bastardizing the entire thing (excuse my language) with their egotistical bickering (between Childs and libeskind, and such) I would prefer a full reconstruction. -

Both suck. The Chronicle is a middle line paper- not too good, but not too horrible, but still sucky. It is getting slightly better, with a few of the columnists, but otherwise, it is just another excellent addition to the bottom of the birdcage. My sister only buys it to read the comics, which are available online.

yeah, that's why I like FW. They are not Dallasy in attitude, and the Downtown is simple, but really nice, and nicely urban.

Her theories and methods are kinda twisted, to put it lightly. Well, its a tossup between her and Dr Phil ( no offense to fans of both )

She's a nut, sure, with some weird theories and crap, but she is generous.

Improvement Ideas Sought For Kirby Dr.
UrbaNerd replied to Subdude's topic in Traffic and Transportation
In MO City, thye are actually burying them alongside the road. I'm not too sure if they can do that to Kirby. -
They should make a transitional plaza, which would be a large sunken plaza accesible by stairs and maybe an elevator, too, and the plaza would have its own shops, and it could be terraced. That would be cool!
