a total of 269 apartments for 2 buildings seems low...
I think that the buildings will be built separately. 269 apartments is probably just for one building.

Finally Houston has topped it's previous residential height.
Will the new Residential tower at Market Square be taller than this one?
-
Yep, it finally has topped off.
Picture or it didn't happen

One Market Square is alive, and I predict it will rise.
I agree that One Market Square may get an increase in height, but I doubt it will hit 700 feet.

that looks way deeper than it did in previous pictures.

Original was better, but this one is still fine.

What's the status on the two-tower proposal for Pacific Plaza? Was the official height ever announced for the taller of the two?
-
I remember a while back there was a Betty's bakery planed.

Thanks Democide.
It should be noted that the Seattle proposal seems pretty nebulous and its actual proposed height seems far from certain.
For the record, there are no supertalls proposed in Dallas.

I can't edit my post for some reason. I meant Allen PKWY, not Wallenberg.

I'd have light rail along Kirby from Reliant/NRG park (where it would intersect with the red line) until Wallenberg Parkway to dountown where it would end where the green/purple lines start. But, if have it go underground while going through West University(?) and river oaks.

Main Street should look like this:The other problem with closing Main Street is the light rail. The benefit of pedestrian plazas is able to get across from the street without worrying about being hit with something, light rail kind of defeats the purpose. I would rather have Main Street continue as a two-way road through the entire downtown area, but I can't control opinions.

any idea which side faces Kirby?
In the first picture, the little building (which looks to me like the becks prime that's already thee) is facing kirby.

^^One of those angles that makes me swoon at the beauty of the Embassy Suites. Just now realized how they made it an homage to the AT&T building... simply stunning.
Actually, I think the Embassy Suites is one of the worst looking buildings in Houston.

The blue lights fit in really well.

Just to be clear, a hotel will go on top of this right?

An elegant box? LOL

I think this is one of the most under-appreciated building currently under construction.

Does anyone know what happened to this? Is it dead? It was, in my opinion, one of the nicest looking proposed low/mid-rise buildings.
