Wow, this is going up pretty fast. It started later, but has already gotten ahead of Block 334.
Everything gotten ahead of 334. It's no great accomplishment.

I know people will hate me for this, but just for the fun of it, what color is this dress?

Gensler's "4 Corners" 2025 master plan.
Now there's even more room for a Top Golf on top of the GRB!

Why is 334 moving so slowly?
Time is interest and interest is money.
I wonder what has caused the seemingly slow pace of construction?
I believe there was a design change.

If this gets built, I hope that it puts more pressure on Houston to get a new supertall.
I don't. Houston doesn't need a supernal right now. supply is soon going to hit demand, if it hasn't already. Building a supertall wouldn't help the city in any way. Look at what happened the last time we overbuilt.
I think some of the developments being built in Dallas are really amazing for their city, but it should not, for any reason, influence whats being built down here in Houston.

Well, after years of rumors, the Apple watch (formerly know as the iWatch) will finally be available in 6-8 weeks. I have been very interested in purchasing a fitness band/smart watch recently, and I do own an iPhone, so though the expensive price, I am planning on purchasing one.
The watch comes in the different styles:
Apple Watch Sport ($349) which comes in blue, green, black, white, and pink and is optimized for more active people
Apple Watch ($450-$550) which comes in a series of different metals, looks more like a traditional watch
Apple Watch Edition ($4,000+) which comes in different types of 18 karat gold and is for those who have too much money and don't know what to do with it.
Is anyone else interested/planning on purchasing one, when it's released in April?

Good lord this is slow.
Actually, this one is going pretty quickly compared to other residential buildings that took/are taking forever to finish the first floor (Astoria, Block 334)

God that suburban-concept Wells Fargo is so out of place.
It definitely is, but I've got family at 2727 Kirby, and a tower there would ruin the view, so I'm hoping it doesn't get built up during this boom.

From the brochure:
That looks really tall for only
24 stories

This view from the article isn't one that I have seen. You can see what the article states as being "seven vertical gardens" in the project. Liking it more and more.
Don't expect it to look exactly like the rendering. Look at what happened to hotel Alessandra

I hope the design doesn't change:

I've heard that Memorial Hermann has plans to tear down the Robertson Pavilion. Robertson is one of the more older buildings in the Medical Center, probably built in the late 40's.
More older?
Sorry, I just had to point that out.

The garage looks almost as bad as the cosmopolitan.

The Belfiore wins!
Which one of these 3 towers u/c got started first?
I believe the Astoria started just before BHP, but they both took forever to get the first few floors completed

Are these going to be condos or apartments?

If only the building was on top of the garage.

so, does anyone know upon whether or not if they have actually decided upon this prospective hotel's namesake? {HOTEL VALENCIA vs HOTEL ALESSANDRIA} there still seems to be a bit of ambiguity...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's Hotel Alessandra, not Alessandria

Whats going on with the Hotel/Residential component of this development?

It seems to be part of an epidemic with "news" organizations/publications in general these days.
It's because of social media. Because we can now share anything to the entire planet with something as small as the palm of our hand, there's no more use for not only physical newspapers, but online as well.

fify. coincidentally you seem to make the brunt of those comments. i've made plenty of OBJECTIVELY negative comments towards Houston.
here's a little exercise for you - name one positive thing about Houston.
You want one positive thing about Houston?
