It essentially is MS Paint for a cell phone. It was scribbled out on a 4" screen (no, I haven't upgraded to the iPhone 6 yet, lol), on an app called iDraw.. Considering I did that in about 5 minutes on a cell phone I was pretty happy, and thought the concept was better than the majority of the buildings going up in the energy corridor.. Lol.
For some reason it wouldn't let me just tap the screen to get dots, I had to move my finger around a bit. It's a pretty ghetto app. Lmao.
But no.. I'm not sure I saw your last critique?

Well then that brings up another question: If illigal aliens don't show up on census reports, than what's the population of other cities such as Dallas, San Antonio and Austin? What about Texas and other states where immigrants enter the country illegally? What would be the actual population of the U.S.?
But I'll leave that for a different discussion.
-
I remember a few years back when Houston reached 6 million. How long until we reach 7 million? (especially with the ongoing boom our city is seeing.) Also, does anyone know what the current population of Houston is?

It's all relative. Some cities would kill to have Houston's bad beaches.
You mean Galveston's bad beaches.

Officials: Second person being monitored for Ebola
DALLAS — Health officials are closely monitoring a possible second Ebola patient who had close contact with the first person to be diagnosed in the U.S., the director of Dallas County's health department said Wednesday.
All who have been in close contact with the man officially diagnosed are being monitored as a precaution, Zachary Thompson, director of Dallas County Health and Human Services, said in a morning interview with WFAA-TV, Dallas-Fort Worth.
"Let me be real frank to the Dallas County residents: The fact that we have one confirmed case, there may be another case that is a close associate with this particular patient," he said. "So this is real. There should be a concern, but it's contained to the specific family members and close friends at this moment."

Title is self-explanatory. Does anyone know what the official height is for a structure to be considered a skyscraper? (If there is on at all)

So this is a really stupid question, I know, but is this a for sure thing because it would be so amazing for this part of Montrose? Along with the new residential happening a few blocks away.
There are no stupid questions.
It's not for sure until dirt starts moving. Nothing is.
For all we know, the economy could collapse tomorrow and all proposed projects would be canceled. Of course, the chances of this happening is extremely low, but my point is, as I stated above, that we can't be sure a project will happen until it actually happens.

I wish the garages weren't separated from the buildings. It would add some height, and leave more space for future developments.

I flew with Frontier to Jackson Hole, Wyoming a few years back and it was fine. Nothing special, but not terrible.

Evelyn's Park on the corner of Bellaire and Newcastle is supposed to begin construction in early December

Still think this would be a great spot for the HSR station, along with all of the aforementioned possibilities.
Too far away from DT, Med. center, Bellaire, Etc.

What's the status on this tower? The bolded link had me excited.
Downtown Dev. Map says it starts in Q4 this year.

I looked it up on google maps, and it looks like there's this weird elevated piece of land, maybe a train yard. The closest I could get to it on street view:
