I was also perplexed by the way the wrap glows at night time, but it's definitely a projector of some sort.  They were playing clips of videos on the window wrap when I was there last night.  Very cool however they're doing it.

I have a friend in Melbourne that was showing me around a couple weeks ago.  She was explaining to me how they have a permitting system for graffiti, which is pretty interesting.

It looks like this development is moving along nicely.  From today:

Flyover from today.  They've planted some of the fake forest and started on the fake waterway.  There were people onsite working at 6PM, so if they keep this pace I'm pretty sure the majority of it will be ready for Superbowl week.

I drove by this yesterday.  It's moving right along.

Obviously the next logical step with the 360 cam would be to add it to my drone.  You can see a lot more than just 609 Main in the video, but I had to pick just one thread... click and drag (or move your phone) to look around in the video.

I was recording the Bun B concert, but if you click and drag the video you can see George R Brown with both LED towers now working.
 

It doesn't appear that much has changed on the park end, but the apartments are coming along nicely.  They have scaffolding in place on the Southern end of the building.  My guess is they'll try to have that end looking tidy for the ESPN broadcast while they finish up the rest of it.

Well look at that... Midtown, we've finally made it.

I know you guys have already started arguing about the completion date.... but has anyone actually seen the progress on the inside of the hotel?  Like where the guests actually stay?  It's one thing to have the outside complete, but I would think a finished out interior is the main thing that matters in terms of booking rooms.

Tarakaan was a joke.  Food was decent, but pricey and it seemed like they were only focused on alcohol sales.  The one time I went there, we were sat in the bar for 30 minutes to wait for a table even though half the seating was available.  After getting a table I watched as they did this to every person that came in, presumably so they would order a couple drinks while they waited.

The narrower parts that I've seen appear to have room on both side of the sidewalk for pavers.  Should put the total width around 6ft or more.
