I wasn't able to retrieve everything I contributed to this thread, mostly what was posted on the first page from last year and earlier this year (included earlier renderings, archived links to leasing brochures, and earlier reports of the project). However I was able to save pages 2 and 3 from this thread and will repost content I shared (and found) previously from those pages. Archive links coming soon.

This is it.
From Houston Chronicle:
East Texas catfish restaurant Flying Fish, popular in the Dallas area, is set to put down roots in Houston.
Launched by the group that owns Flying Saucer and Rodeo Goat, this new outpost will debut in the Heights, at the intersection of North Durham and West 19th Street. The 4,000-square-foot space will seat up to 150 customers and will include a screened-in porch and outdoor patio.
...Wynne said they're in the process of acquiring a license from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to harvest catfish from Buffalo Bayou. That permit is still pending.
"They say 'local grown' is better for the environment, so those bureaucrats in Washington ought to let us sell mud-cat right out of the bayou. Quit blocking free enterprise," Wynne jokes. "We have no doubt that Houston fishermen can catch fish bigger than other towns in the Lone Star State."
The no-frills seafood establishment is known for its low-key atmosphere and a menu of Gulf oysters, fish and some Cajun staples. It has a large following in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and also has locations in other Texas cities: Garland, Arlington and Addison. Houston's Flying Fish will be the 10th outpost of the popular, chain.
It's expected to open later this fall in the space that once housed Houston Tire Shop.

From the Leader in July 2018:
Retro Gas Station for lease
Revive purchased Kim’s Service Station at 3210 N. Shepherd last year and has been working with the former owner as he seeks to move his business further north. Revive is currently looking for tenants for the space. As their flyer says, “this site can be creatively repurposed into a stylish, heavily-trafficked neighborhood restaurant, or easily converted to an automotive use. Enjoy a 20 to 1 parking ratio with drive-thru access or a bustling patio space.”

Ancorian is purchasing property on the 800 block of W 19th Street, off North Durham. The properties purchased recently are shown below in block 96, lots 1-6. There could purchase more property for a new development or resell. Last month Ancorian established a LLC for 19th Street LLC, purchasing the properties under that entity. Does any one know of any plans here?

I think you may be right on the money, @Purdueenginerd. Heights Outlook may be the building of Schill Steel Services at 3001 W 11th near Ella. This is in or near the Timbergrove and Lazybrook area in the Greater Heights. It's also not far from Railway Heights.
There was a Loopnet listing for the sale of the building listed in 2016 and unlisted in 2017.https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/19998649/3001-W-11th-Street-Houston-TX (archive link)
The property was owned by 3001 W 11th Street LP until recently.
According to HCAD and records in the Harris County Clerk database, the property is in the name of PRGIF 3001 W 11th LLC as of January. PRGIF is real estate investment company Pinto Realty Growth & Income Fund.

I don't know the location where Heights Overlook is being considered for development in Houston.
The renderings from StudioMET Architects are labeled Nederland as in Nederland, Texas. But the project's description has Houston as the location for Heights Overlook.

Distiller Fox & Seeker was ready to sign on the dotted line and move to 1125 W Cavalcade but the site fell through.
The property is the site of Town In City Brewing's brewery.
Fox & Seeker posted a note on all of this on their website. The distillery was under construction on Summer St in Sawyer Yards. There was a problem with their TABC permit and the search for another building was on. They found the perfect location but the seller withdrew the property from the market.
Here's the story from Fox & Seeker's website:
In the Fall of ‘18, we signed our lease at 2500 Summer Street (our 1st Ward location). We developed our architectural drawings, set our interior design, gained City approval for construction/buildout, and applied for all permits to become Houston’s next distillery. Unfortunately, the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) declined our permit for the Summer Street location. As some of you may know, Texas has a very strict tiered system for the manufacture, distribution and sale of spirits. Sadly, it turned out that a minor ownership interests of the leasing entity proved an insurmountable obstacle. Kindly, our landlord helped us minimize our financial exposure while we look for alternate locations.
To help make life easier for future Texas breweries, wineries and distilleries, we are actively engaged with various Texas State Representatives to keep this issue on the table for the next legislative session. We believe that there are some sensible modifications to the law that could preserve the intent and integrity of the three tiered system while allowing for certain obvious exceptions.
Many may have noticed the article in Houston’s Eater about our ‘new’ location in the Heights. Indeed, we were in the middle of negotiation for this location. We ended up at the signing table but ultimately the seller decided to withdraw the property from the market. We were quite devastated to have gotten so far and still come up short.
No one ever said starting a new business was easy. We’re committed to bring grain-to-glass spirits to Houston regardless of the (seemingly) endless obstacles that get put in front of a startup distillery and are keen to stay in the Greater Heights area. We believe that this area will welcome our product. We’ve kicked off a new round of our property search and we’re working daily with our Developer to find the perfect spot for us to bring a truly unique establishment to Houston.
We’ll be a bit quiet until we get the paperwork signed as to not tempt fate again. We hope to update you shortly with a new address and sincerely appreciate your patience as we navigate this process!

Yawn. From the siteplan and the article, Flying Fish is going in the space in the lower right corner.
Why do we need more restaurants? Couldn't this space be used for something else?
