Parkside Residences: Multifamily High-Rise At 808 Crawford St.
xsatyr replied to largeTEXAS's topic in Downtown
They are. Many companies are contracted by a developer and the office space is needed. They probably do onsite orientation too for new workers who need to be badged.- 1,224 replies

If the demand was there then they would be taller. Houston is densifying but the growth is still spread out through numerous neighborhoods.

I think this is more than sufficient for its intended purposes. The only area without grass is towards the end of the bridge.

The whole area under the bridge is pretty overgrown when not maintained. Towards the end of the bridge is the only section that prob does not have much grass. I don't know what the other poster is taking about.

I don't even feel comfortable walking over the bridge on Studewood. It's too narrow. You have to walk in a single file line if you're with others. I am not even convinced it's meant to be walked on but I guess it's a Houston thing.

They know the signs are not there anymore. That's what the conversation was about but cool pic nevertheless.

Settling for paintball, which I love, is just selling the place short. A place that aesthetically appealing deserves more respect than that.

Hanover Montrose: Multifamily At 3400 Montrose Blvd.
xsatyr replied to HoustonMidtown's topic in Montrose
Go blind? Now that's a hyperbole... I wouldn't mind if this building was planned for another location but it will stick out like a sore thumb for me in that neighborhood.- 539 replies

That's subjective. For me it's going to be an eyesore and will def not go unnoticed.- 539 replies

That's going to be an eyesore. Hopefully it will look better than the renderings.- 539 replies

I couldn't take many pics inside because my main boss was there and the staff for Jennie Sealy do not appreciate workers on their cell phones. We were given warnings during orientation. Unfortunately I won't be able to contribute any more pics because I am back in Houston.

I'll start posting pics soon including the interior construction. I just started working there today.

I don't have a problem with this building being demolished. It's main architectural feature was removed a long time ago and I could only imagine how much it would cost to renovate a building that was vacant for so long.
