Very nice place. The Kinder Foundation is on the top floor. It is so wonderful when people give back to the city of Houston. They donated money for Discovery Green, Centennial Gardens at Herman Park, Buffalo Bayou and Memorial Park. Even more to come. I'm very sure the residents that oppose the building now go to Rossini because everything is very good.

If you get a chance a have a Rossini Caffe in the lobby the best coffee you will ever have. A very nice place for a business meeting.

So sick of watching them. They cannot never beat the Rangers! They are on a skid looks like they will not make the playoffs this year.

Hopefully we will have good weather in February it is always a toss up.

This is a nice building. Too bad it has all that glass and that dramatic top. I was hoping for something beige and more akin to the new hotel at Greenstreet or maybe the Hampton Inn. THOSE buildings are delicious, rich, textural, designs that shock the senses and really make one think: "is beige the new Soylent Green?"
You are kidding?

Amazing, global city or what?

I think it is nice, ugly is those AT&T buildings. This will help Green Street to a major asset to Downtown. Hard to believe it will not be finished by January.

There are putting on the roof!

Look it up on the 2016 World Almanac. Who knows? It shows Pennzoil Place at 523 feet.

I live nearby and cannot believe the impact will make, amazing! Kirby Dr. will be a standstill!

I like it, when all these projects are completed the density will be something we have never seen Downtown. It looks like the Astros will not make the playoffs, what a bummer.

I'm not sure it's even the tallest residential building downtown. Emporis has Market Square Tower at 498 feet and One Park Place at 501 feet. (FWIW, Emporis has 2929 Weslayan at only 468 feet. The Huntingdon still reigns as the tallest residential in Houston, at 503 feet.
2929 Weslayan is 533 feet, The Huntington is 503 feet, Market Square is 502 feet, and One Park Place is 501 feet.

I do not understand supertall fetishism.
Same here I have a feet fetishism lol. My Dad said be grateful for what you have rather then what you don't have. Once finished this building will be spectacular. Hines will get what he wants Platinum LEED certification. Remember it as was proposed 41 floors and they raised it. Eventually we will get another supertall. They very expensive to build.

Hines will not release the other tenants. Just a joke but who knows?

It is 50% leased. Maybe when Obama leaves United corporate will move back to Houston.

This is such a beautiful building. This will have such an effect on this side of downtown during the next building cycle.

It is more amazing then I thought! A friend of mine moving from United Airlines off Jefferson to 609 Main cannot wait. He works for refunds and accounting off Smith are also moving there. Maybe Customer Care from North Houston.

Great picture! Hines will get LEED Platinum. It is so striking and the curves are incredible.
