That's not a new terminal, it's a replacement and redevelopment of an existing bus terminal, with an extension of the Caltrain line from 4th and King to the new terminal(unlikely to be completed until 2026, apparently), and a pedestrian connection to the existing BART Embarcadero station near Market and Pine. It's easy to build a terminal when most of the connections are nearby or already exist. The San Francisco project is nothing like the proposals for the NW Mall site. San Francisco also has far higher density, and far less empty space, so there is more impetus for transit projects, and they make more sense there.

I'm referring to the future over 400,000 live inside the loop.  That will double in 15 t0 20 years have some sort plan now!

Houston is not hammered. We need a slowdown to fill everything up.  Houston has the 10 busiest port in the world, and the largest medical center in the world. Look at the GNP of Texas who brings in more money.  We also had the best Superbowl ever!

  3. This is a great topic.  A great spot for it, but cannot connect to buses. As they are building in San Francisco right next to the Saleforse Tower a large terminal with BART, MUNI, Heavy Rail and buses.  We are so far behind and the county and the city are just stupid.

  4. Sorry about that on skyscraper.com is is noted a ugly building check out the list.  I'm not mocking Dallas, I just wish we had our downtown lighted up that they have.  It is not a insult.  Meow!

  5. It is a very ugly building, but this is the nicest it has looked.  Soon United Airlines is is moving from 1600 Smith to 609 Main.  I wish we could light up the skyline like Dallas.  Meow!

Whoever currently owns BG Group Place or whatever it's now called should sue Hines for making their building suddenly look so dull and earthbound. It's like seeing someone in an Armani suit walk up next to someone in khakis and a blazer. Just flatfooted.

What a stupid remark  BG Group Place just got a big lease.  You are not making any sense.
